Announced for May 2026 but not flying: on 28 September the civil aviation authority was still working with SalamAir on what it needs to start Syria–Oman flights, and no SalamAir flight is on the Damascus airport board through 31 October. SalamAir's own October schedule still lists Muscat–Damascus, so check with the airline before booking. Fly Cham flies from Muscat on Friday mornings.

Weekly (RB277), leaving Copenhagen on Monday evening and landing early on Tuesday. Both flights tracked (28 September and 5 October) stopped in Hanover on the way; we don't know whether passengers can board there. The first flight from Copenhagen left on Tuesday 22 September 2026.

The big European airlines don't fly to Syria, following EASA's advice to stay out of part of Syrian airspace at any height and below 26,000 feet over the rest (revised 1 October 2026, valid to 30 November 2026). It is advice, not a ban: Sundair, LEAV and Dan Air fly in with their own regulators' approval. The direct routes above are those smaller carriers or Syrian Air. AEGEAN has announced Athens–Damascus from 2 December 2026.
