The big European airlines don't fly to or from Syria, following EASA's advice to stay out of part of Syrian airspace at any height and below 26,000 feet over the rest (revised 1 October 2026, valid to 30 November 2026). It is advice, not a ban: Sundair, LEAV, Dan Air and Syrian Air fly direct to a few European cities. AEGEAN has announced Athens–Damascus from 2 December 2026.
